- **Participant ID lookup** — Validate recipient IDs before sending, derived automatically from VAT numbers or local business identifiers.
- **Visibility control** — Configure each party's presence across the SMP, SML, and Peppol Directory.

### NOW — E-invoicing systems enforced to date

Public bodies receive e-invoices through UJP, which accepts Peppol. B2B e-invoicing is voluntary until 2028.
