Invopop is part of Y-Combinator 2023

Exciting news! Invopop is proud to announce that it has been selected to join Y-Combinator’s 2023 program!

As co-founders Sam and Juan know all too well, tax authorities worldwide are increasingly requiring companies to report sales through electronic invoicing. This regulation is already in place in most of Latin America and will soon be mandatory in Europe.

This is where Invopop comes in: a single API for global compliance. The API receives information from a sale in a simple open-source format, converts it to a locally compliant invoice, and integrates with a company’s existing systems (ERP, billing, payments, reconciliation). Invopop is already live in Colombia, Spain, and Portugal, with many more countries soon to come, such as Mexico, Italy, and Peru

What inspired Sam and Juan to start Invopop?

Sam was previously co-founder and CTO of Cabify and experienced first-hand the challenges of complying with e-invoicing regulations while expanding in Latin America. When he couldn’t find a global provider to solve this problem, he decided to build Invopop himself.
